Brand Support

A small number of brands
will help bring Scouted Colorado to life.

Scouted Colorado is an eleven-day market featuring more than thirty-five Colorado businesses inside the Community House at Colorado Chautauqua.

Supporting brands make the experience possible while helping sustain the historic place where it happens. After production and operating costs and the Maker Scholarship fund, net proceeds benefit the Colorado Chautauqua Association.

Commitments close September 30, 2026

We share 2027 figures directly rather than publishing them, so every conversation starts with fit rather than a number.

Category exclusivity is available at the Presenting, Arrival, Meadows Library and Grand Assembly levels. Payment is due within 14 days of agreement.

Why Scouted Colorado

Every brand says it supports local.
Almost none can show you where.

For eleven days, you can.

  • At the foot of the Flatirons.
  • Inside a National Historic Landmark.
  • Across the green from an official Film Festival screening venue.
  • Surrounded by more than thirty-five exceptional independent businesses from across Colorado.

Scouted Colorado isn’t another corporate pop-up built around the Festival. It’s Colorado’s place within the moment.

When Colorado Chautauqua considered how Community House could come to life during the Film Festival’s first year in Colorado, The Scout Guide was selected to transform the historic building into something rooted here: a curated gathering place celebrating the businesses, makers and creative community that give Colorado its character.

For the right brands, that creates something difficult to buy anywhere else during the Film Festival.

Presence with purpose.

A brand can rent a storefront. Build a lounge. Wrap a building. Hand out swag.

What it can’t manufacture overnight is local credibility, community, and belonging.

  • The Scout Guide already has the relationships.
  • Colorado’s independent businesses already have the stories.
  • Chautauqua already has the history.
  • The Film Festival brings the moment.

Our supporters help bring them together.

1898

Colorado Chautauqua

Created as a place for people to gather around culture, learning, ideas and community. More than 125 years later, it remains one of Colorado’s most distinctive gathering places.

1981

Sundance Institute

Founded to create space for independent artists and original voices outside the traditional system.

2010

The Scout Guide

Founded around a simple idea: exceptional independent businesses deserve to be discovered.

Different decades. Different industries. The same instinct.
Make room for something independent, exceptional and worth keeping.

In January 2027, those three stories meet at Chautauqua. And a small group of brands gets to help make it possible.

Brand Support

During the Film Festival, brands can show up in a lot of places.
Scouted Colorado offers something harder to create: belonging.

Scouted Colorado works with a deliberately limited number of supporting brands — companies that want more than visibility during the Film Festival.

These aren’t logo packages. They’re opportunities to become part of the experience itself, and to be recognized as one of the companies helping Colorado’s independent business community show up during the Festival’s historic first year here.

Six named levels. Ten Spotlight Supporters. One inaugural year.

A portion of every supporter commitment funds a Maker Scholarship: a place in the marketplace for a Colorado artist or maker who would not otherwise be here.

Every supporter receives

  • Promotion by email and social across all four Colorado Scout Guide markets, and other participating Scout Guide markets
  • Access to eligible opted-in giveaway leads

The Nordic tipi on the Chautauqua green creates one of Scouted Colorado’s most visible branded experiences — pitched between the Chautauqua Auditorium and the Community House, on the path Festival audiences walk between the films and the market.

This isn’t simply signage. It’s a chance to create a memorable physical experience at the entrance to Scouted Colorado.

Includes

  • Naming rights to the Nordic tipi for all eleven days
  • Category exclusivity among Scouted Colorado supporters
  • Prominent on-site brand recognition

Create a lounge. Host clients. Build an installation. Introduce a product. Create a place for conversation. Or bring us an idea we haven’t considered yet.

Your brand receives naming rights to Meadows Library and the opportunity to transform the space into an experience of its own within Scouted Colorado.

Includes

  • Naming rights to Meadows Library for all eleven days

Grand Assembly Annex Supporter

One available

Be in the middle of it.

Figures on request

Grand Assembly is the heart of the Scouted Colorado market, surrounded by a curated collection of independent businesses from across Colorado.

A dedicated branded activation within Grand Assembly puts one supporter directly inside that energy for all eleven days. Not beside the market. Part of it.

Create an experience guests can walk into, interact with and remember.

Includes

  • A dedicated branded activation space — the Grand Assembly Annex — for all eleven days
  • Naming rights to the Annex activation, not to Grand Assembly itself
  • Category exclusivity among Scouted Colorado supporters
  • 6 Preview Party invitations
  • Featured social inclusion
  • Supporter recognition across Scouted Colorado marketing

Larkspur Supporter

One available

Make it yours.

Figures on request

Tucked away from the energy of the main market, Larkspur gives one supporter a dedicated environment for all eleven days.

A private brand experience. A styling suite. A tasting. A conversation room. A gifting experience. A place to host clients.

What happens inside should feel like your brand.

Includes

  • Naming rights to the Larkspur Room for all eleven days
  • Dedicated activation rights within the space
  • 4 Preview Party invitations
  • Supporter recognition across Scouted Colorado marketing
  • Social and email inclusion

Bellflower Supporter

One available

Small room. Big opportunity.

Figures on request

The Bellflower Room is Scouted Colorado’s most intimate dedicated supporter space.

One brand. One room. Eleven days.

Designed for an experience that benefits from intimacy rather than scale, Bellflower offers one supporter the opportunity to create something personal, memorable and entirely its own.

Includes

  • Naming rights to the Bellflower Room for all eleven days
  • Dedicated activation rights within the space
  • 4 Preview Party invitations
  • Supporter recognition across Scouted Colorado marketing
  • Social and email inclusion

Spotlight Supporters

Ten available

Ten brands.
Eleven days.
A place in the story.

Figures on request

Ten Colorado brands carrying Scouted Colorado alongside the named supporters, recognized throughout the Festival.

A natural fit for a brand that wants a meaningful presence across the Film Festival without building an eleven-day activation of its own.

What you receive

  • Your name on the Spotlight Supporters installation in Grand Assembly
  • Elevated on-site recognition throughout the marketplace
  • Dedicated social storytelling across the four Colorado markets

Throughout the Festival

  • Brand recognition in supporter materials
  • Inclusion in the Scouted Colorado announcement email
  • Promotion by email and social across all four Colorado Scout Guide markets, and other participating Scout Guide markets
  • Access to eligible opted-in giveaway leads
  • 2 Preview Party invitations

Your category stays yours.

Our Presenting, Arrival, Meadows Library and Grand Assembly supporters receive category exclusivity. No competing company will hold a Scouted Colorado supporter level in the agreed category.

Because Scouted Colorado exists to showcase independent Colorado businesses, the curated marketplace may include local businesses operating within the same broader industry. Vendor selection remains editorial and is separate from supporter exclusivity.

In-Kind Supporters

Limited

Contribute what you do best.

We work with a limited number of supporters whose product, talent, or service helps create the experience itself.

  • Food and beverage
  • Florals
  • Furniture
  • Transportation
  • Printing
  • Photography
  • Production
  • Build-out
  • Hospitality

Supporter recognition will reflect the scope and value of the contribution.

A relationship that can continue after January.

An on-site Scouted Colorado giveaway will run throughout the Festival. Where participants have expressly opted in to receive communications from Scouted Colorado and participating supporters, eligible supporters will receive access to those leads in accordance with the consent provided at entry.

The Maker Scholarship

Every supporter brings someone with it.

A portion of every Scouted Colorado supporter commitment funds a Maker Scholarship — a partially supported place in the marketplace for a Colorado artist or maker whose work is made by hand and in small numbers.

Potters, weavers, painters, needleworkers, woodworkers. People whose work belongs in a room like this, where the cost of being in it is the only thing standing in the way.

Our Colorado editorial teams choose the scholars, and the supporter behind them is recognized alongside their work.

The place benefits, too

The more successful Scouted Colorado becomes, the more it gives back.

Colorado Chautauqua Association is the nonprofit steward of the National Historic Landmark that makes Scouted Colorado possible.

After production and operating expenses and the Maker Scholarship fund, net proceeds from brand support will benefit Colorado Chautauqua Association.

Participating vendors will also contribute a percentage of their event sales to the Association.

Questions

Brand support questions.

  • When do we need to commit?

Supporter agreements are signed by September 30, 2026, so supporters are included in the printed collateral. Payment is due within 14 days of agreement.

Creative development, activation planning and signage run from October through December, which is why the September date is a real one rather than a soft target.

  • What does category exclusivity actually cover?

Our Presenting, Arrival, Meadows Library and Grand Assembly supporters receive category exclusivity. No competing company will hold a Scouted Colorado supporter level within the agreed category.

Because Scouted Colorado exists to showcase independent Colorado businesses, the curated marketplace may still include local businesses operating in the same broader industry. Vendor selection is editorial and separate from supporter exclusivity.

  • Where do the proceeds go?

After production and operating expenses and the Maker Scholarship fund, net proceeds from brand support benefit the Colorado Chautauqua Association — the non-profit steward of the National Historic Landmark that makes Scouted Colorado possible.

Participating vendors also contribute a percentage of their marketplace sales to the Association, and Scouted Colorado retains none of that contribution.

  • Can we contribute product or services instead of cash?

Yes, for a limited number of supporters whose product, talent or service helps create the experience itself — food and beverage, florals, furniture, transportation, printing, photography, production, build-out and hospitality.

Supporter recognition reflects the scope and value of the contribution.

  • Do supporters choose the Maker Scholarship recipient?

No. Scholars are selected by The Scout Guide’s Colorado editorial teams. A supporter choosing the maker would turn curation into placement, which is the one thing that would undermine the whole room.

The supporter behind a scholar is recognized alongside their work.

  • Do we get the leads from the on-site giveaway?

A Scouted Colorado giveaway runs throughout the Festival. Where participants have expressly opted in to receive communications from Scouted Colorado and participating supporters, eligible supporters receive access to those leads in accordance with the consent given at entry.
